Abstract
Military education stands as a socio-cultural institution with profound implications for society at large. This paper explores the multifaceted role of military education within the broader socio-cultural framework. It examines how military institutions serve not only as centers for imparting specialized knowledge and skills but also as agents of socialization, shaping individual identities and fostering a collective ethos. Drawing upon insights from sociology, anthropology, and education, this study delves into the socio-cultural dynamics embedded within military education systems. It analyzes the interplay between military values, traditions, and practices, and their broader impact on societal norms and values. Furthermore, the paper investigates the role of military education in perpetuating or challenging prevailing social hierarchies, gender norms, and cultural identities. By understanding military education as a socio-cultural institute, this research contributes to a deeper appreciation of its significance within the fabric of society and informs discussions on its evolving role in contemporary contexts.
