Review Process:
The review process plays a critical role in safeguarding and enhancing the integrity of scientific endeavors across all scholarly publications worldwide. The Quarterly Journal of Language Studies and Military Translation implements an equitable and bilingual refereeing system, ensuring that both authors and reviewers remain unaware of each other's identities.
Each initial manuscript submitted undergoes evaluation by at least two independent reviewers. Prior to the scholarly assessment by the referees, all original submissions are meticulously screened to prevent plagiarism. At Imam Ali (PBUH) Military University, we maintain a steadfast commitment to combatting plagiarism, thoroughly examining all articles submitted to our journals to uphold their originality.
The journal's editor ensures the complete confidentiality of the peer review process, ensuring that only authors and reviewers have access to the content of the submitted work until its publication. The final decision regarding manuscript acceptance rests solely with the reviewers, uninfluenced by external factors. In cases of disagreement among referees, the final decision of acceptance or rejection is made by a third referee or the editorial team.
In publications by Imam Ali University, the anonymity of all individuals involved in the review process, particularly referees, is preserved to the greatest extent possible through the use of an online management system.
To facilitate this process, please adhere to the following guidelines when submitting your articles:
- The first page of the submitted file should include the article title, authors' names, affiliations, and contact information, including email, phone number, and full address.
- The second page of the submitted file should contain only the article title, without any additional information.
- Subsequent pages of the file should not reveal any details about the authors' identities, including the ORCID code.
- Please refrain from mentioning authors' names before the article summary or in the footer of any pages.
Upon submission of the article file, the magazine's editorial team conducts an initial review. If the article meets the basic criteria necessary for the refereeing process, it is forwarded to relevant referees for evaluation in a similar and bilingual manner. Following the completion of the review process, a decision is rendered, indicating one of the following options:
- Acceptance
- Conditional acceptance (subject to revisions and corrections)
- Rejection
