Translation Semiotics: The Process of Translation as a Research Target

Abstract
The translation process, which includes a realistic translation summary, can be defined as follows: everything the translator does from the beginning of the source language text to the completion of the target language text, everything is inclusive, from every stroke of the pencil and every click to Using a variety of auxiliary tools and the general process in decision making, solving problems and creating reforms (Hansen 2003:26). Translation process research has become one of the prominent fields in translation studies. Along with other mind sciences such as cognition, consciousness studies, and brain research, translation process research increases interest in mental processes and actions. Better knowledge about the structure of individual translation processes and personal translation practices is important for translator training and re-employment of professional translators in international organizations, companies and translation agencies. The key requirements that professional translators must meet are excellence and work efficiency and optimal collaboration between colleagues with regard to review and quality management processes. Seeking detailed knowledge and a deeper understanding of what happens in the translator's mind during translation is related to the development and improvement of computer-assisted translation and machine translation.
