Abstract
Military diplomacy is a critical component of international relations, where language serves as a bridge for communication, negotiation, and collaboration. This paper explores the role of language in military diplomacy, emphasizing how linguistic competence fosters trust, cultural understanding, and operational effectiveness in multinational military engagements. Drawing on recent studies in applied linguistics, military science, and international relations, this article highlights the importance of language training, cultural competence, and the use of English as a lingua franca in military contexts. The paper concludes with recommendations for enhancing language education programs within military institutions to support diplomatic objectives.
