Abstract
Imagine, teachers who know about how different variables refer to learners can affect teaching a second language, and by this, they make a plan for various instructions to involve all second language learners in the class, are successful enough in their job. Understanding different impacts of variables on the L2 learning process illustrates a new perspective for teachers to make the teaching process effective (Lightbown,1985). In light of learner variables importance, the ways the teachers should encounter each variable items are essential, but before that, the first step is to figure out different features of learning variables; with this in mind, the essay will be discussed about mostly functional learner variables in L2 learning, firstly, age of acquisition in learners will be presented. Secondly, learners’ intelligence will be mentioned, and finally, the essay will disclose learners’ motivation and attitude.
