Vocabulary in any language develops through both formal and informal processes. A primary driver of informal word formation is the need for new terms among diverse groups, from poets to specialists. In the Persian language, military forces have been particularly influential in this regard. To meet the demands of combat and defense, they have informally created and popularized a vast lexicon, demonstrating the language's dynamism and capacity for expressing complex military concepts. However, the military's power to popularize language is a double-edged sword. While it has enriched Persian, the lack of oversight can also lead to the spread of inappropriate or poorly constructed terms. Therefore, a more serious and scientific approach to this phenomenon is now essential to guide its impact and preserve the language's integrity.
