In today's fast-paced, technology-driven world, the effective integration of technology into language education has become an unavoidable necessity. In this regard, the TPACK model has emerged as a key framework in the field, emphasizing the need for language teachers to develop a deep, interconnected understanding of technology, pedagogy, and content knowledge. Given the significance of this framework, the present review article examines the role of the TPACK model in English language teaching within both domestic and international research. It subsequently analyzes the affordances and challenges associated with its implementation, and finally offers practical strategies for enhancing teacher knowledge and promoting the adoption of this model, alongside suggestions for future research directions.
